What does every dose of Adrenal Health provide?
Adrenal Health is packed with several ingredients that are proven to support adrenal gland function. Those ingredients include:
Vitamin C is one of the most important nutrients for whole-body health, and this extends to the adrenal glands. In fact, the outer layers of adrenal gland tissues have the highest concentration of vitamin C in the entire body.
That’s because your adrenal glands use vitamin C to produce both adrenaline and noradrenaline. During stress, adrenaline and noradrenaline are what prepare your muscles and brains for action, focus attention and enhance memory retrieval. Pushing people into turbo mode often or for an extended time, though, depletes our store of vitamin C.
Adrenal Health replenishes this vitamin C supply – ensuring both the adrenal glands and the rest of your body have enough of the vitamine to perform.
Vitamin B1, also called thiamine, is one of several B vitamins that can support adrenal function. In the case of thiamine, the vitamin is also responsible for supporting adrenaline production. It’s also needed to create cortisol, another important stress-related hormone that acts like the body’s alarm system.
Our bodies require a constant supply of thiamine to maintain balance. For instance, one study that measured the effects of thiamine deficiency found that if daily amounts of thiamine were reduced to half of daily needs, people were more likely to become irritable, uncooperative and depressed.
Riboflavin is also a member of the B vitamins – B2 to be exact. Riboflavin is implicated in many of the body’s functions and is used to create energy. It’s also an antioxidant, protecting the body’s cells from oxidative stress.
It’s also effective for other kinds of stress, as it is needed to support adrenal gland production. Riboflavin works with vitamin C to ramp up adrenaline secretion, so it can better prepare us when stress is present. Riboflavin deficiencies are associated with fatigue, inflammation and digestive issues.
Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal-5-phosphate)
Few vitamins are as important as vitamin B6, as it is needed for more than 100 biochemical reactions in every cell. It is particularly useful for cell metabolism, and so vitamin B6 prevalence correlates with overall health to a degree.
In the adrenal glands, vitamin B6 is another B vitamin that assists with the production of adrenal hormones like adrenaline and noradrenaline.
Pantothenic acid (derived from calcium pantothenate)
All of the B vitamins are needed for metabolism and adrenal function, but pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) may be the most important for adrenal gland balance.
Pantothenic acid assists with the production of multiple adrenal gland hormones, including progesterone and cortisol. Beyond that, though, pantothenic acid also regulates the expression of adrenal gland receptors, so it can prevent adrenal receptors from becoming overly sensitive.
Pantothenic acid is also used to process carbohydrates and deficiencies can have a noticeable impact on mood, energy and mental state.
Zinc (as zinc citrate)
Zinc is among the body’s most essential nutrients and is used in multiple organ systems. It’s also a nutrient that our bodies cannot produce on their own, and so it must be acquired through diet or supplementation.
Zinc is depleted when the adrenal glands activate too frequently or for extended periods of time. Adrenal Health can replenish your body’s zinc stores, which is important for many reasons. For example, zinc is needed to properly store histamine and if there’s not enough of it in your system, then it will be a challenge to regulate histamine prevalence and prevent allergies.
Adrenal suprarenal substance
Adrenal Health is also formulated with adrenal suprarenal extract, which can replace adrenal hormones in function. Many people take adrenal suprarenal extract to help with low energy levels and concentration.
Eleuthero root is one of a few plant-based solutions to balancing the endocrine system. Supplementing the root can help normalize adrenal gland function and improve our ability to respond to stress. As a result, eleuthero root has been used throughout history as a treatment for fatigue, stress, sleep disturbances and poor memory function.
Licorice root also supports the adrenal glands by preventing the body from breaking down cortisol. This helps maintain higher concentrations of the hormone and therefore preserves energy levels and stress response.
Digestive enzyme blend
Each dose of Adrenal Health also includes several digestive enzymes that target the plant material (eleuthero and licorice root) inside the supplement. We include protease, peptidase, phytase, glucoamylase, pectinase, alpha-galactosidase, cellulase and hemicellulase for this purpose.
Are there any irritants or allergens in Adrenal Health?
There are no dairy products, no wheat, soy, sugar, peanuts or lactose in Adrenal Health. You can take it with confidence, knowing that it is free of all common allergens.
Provide your adrenal glands with the nutrients they need with Adrenal Health
Our adrenal glands burn a lot of nutrients preparing us for stress and action. If those nutrients aren’t replenished regularly, it can suppress adrenal function and leave us feeling fatigued, irritable and unable to focus. Adrenal Health can help reverse that fatigue, with critical vitamins, minerals and enzymes designed to optimize adrenal production and balance.
