Genesis Liver Help (60)

Liver Help for optimal liver function and health

Few, if any, organs work as hard as the liver does. Keep it working hard with Liver Help, a nutrient and enzyme-packed supplement designed to support liver health, cell regeneration and detoxification.

Liver health is whole-body health, as the liver is responsible for many important bodily functions. It helps with hormone regulation, breaks down waste materials, aids in digestion, synthesizes nutrients, removes toxins from the body and filters all of the blood that circulates out of the stomach or intestines. In short, the liver has a big job in the body and Liver Help ensures it can do it efficiently.

What’s in Liver Help?

Liver Help is packed with a variety of vitamins, nutrients and enzymes that all have a positive impact on liver function. Combined into a single supplement that’s taken once a day, Liver Help has more than a dozen ingredients designed to support your liver. Some of those ingredients include:

Vitamin A (as Vitamin A palmitate)

Vitamin A is an essential nutrient for many of the body’s functions and can protect the liver from disease. Multiple animal models have shown that vitamin A supplementation can help the liver recover from injury and reduce the likelihood of fatty necrosis following injury. As fatty necrosis can be a medical emergency, vitamin A supplementation can prevent serious disease if an injury has occurred.

Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant and can protect against several forms of cancer. It can reduce the likelihood of age-related blindness and aids in proper immune system function. It’s an important nutrient, in other words.

Choline (as choline bitartrate)

Choline is similar to Vitamin B in chemical composition, but it’s neither vitamin or mineral. It’s an essential nutrient, though, and while our livers can make some, most of what we need has to come from food or supplement.

Studies involving tens of thousands of people have found that higher choline intakes are correlated with lower rates of non-alcoholic liver disease. Choline is needed to build new cells and it’s critical for optimal brain function.

Selenium (as selenium citrate)

Selenium is found in the soil, though only in trace amounts. Your body doesn’t need much, but selenium is an essential nutrient for metabolism and liver function.

Selenium is prized for its antioxidizing properties and it can be used to reduce oxidative stress. This is helpful in the liver, where there’s a lot of enzymatic activity going on. With selenium, the liver can maintain its own tissues better and improve the liver’s ability to filter blood.

N-acetyl cysteine

N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a semi-essential amino acid that is created from other amino acids in the body. It is used in several important functions, some of which include the liver. Specifically, NAC is a detoxifying compound that can improve your kidneys’ and liver’s ability to cleanse the blood.

NAC is also used by the body to create glutathione. Glutathione is one of the body’s most effective antioxidants and is used to protect tissues from oxidative damage. In fact, researchers think glutathione is linked to overall longevity.

Milk thistle seed

The milk thistle plant produces seeds that are rich in silymarin, and it’s this compound that’s believed to repair and protect the liver from damage. Many studies have investigated the effects of milk thistle seed on the liver, and most have found positive effects.

In patients with alcohol-induced cirrhosis, most studies have found a positive correlation between milk thistle seed intake and improved outcomes in patients. In patients with viral hepatitis, milk thistle seed is a widely adopted therapeutic. Many studies have confirmed the efficacy of milk thistle in viral hepatitis. In one study, patients who did not respond to interferon or ribavirin therapy for hepatitis C improved after taking milk thistle seed instead.

Dandelion root

The humble dandelion has been used in medicine for centuries and the whole plant is useful from a medicinal standpoint. The root itself contains compounds that can improve liver function by increasing the flow of bile out of the organ.

Multiple studies have looked into the beneficial effects of this increased bile flow and have found interesting results. Some researchers believe dandelion root can help the liver detoxify itself and other animal studies have found that dandelion root regulates inflammatory response and reduces both oxidative stress and fibrosis. That means better overall liver health.

Formulated enzyme blend

Each dose of Liver Help also comes with a combination of liver-supporting enzymes, including proteases, pectinase, lipase, alpha-galactosidase, phytase, glucoamylase, peptidase, cellulase and hemicellulase. Together, these enzymes improve Liver Help’s effectiveness by ensuring its active ingredients are absorbed by the body more efficiently. There’s a lot of enzyme activity going on inside the liver, so delivering additional resources ensures you get the most out of every Liver Help dose.

What isn’t in Liver Help?

Liver Help is free of many allergens and inflammation-causing substances. There’s no dairy, lactose, peanuts, soy, sugar or wheat in Liver Help and the supplement is vegetarian-friendly, so it can be taken with confidence.

Your liver works hard, support it with Liver Help

The liver is your largest internal organ and it may be the hardest working. It exerts itself every day cleansing your body’s fluids and minimizing toxin load. Because it exerts itself so much, though, it is susceptible to injury and damage itself. That’s where Liver Help can, well, help. With nutrients proven to aid the liver’s health and function, Liver Help can provide the fuel your liver needs to keep working hard.
