Get A Handle On Stress And Improve Nervous System Balance With RelaxZyme

Our modern lives are increasingly defined by stress and anxiety. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, nearly 20 percent of U.S. adults (about 40 million people) suffer from an anxiety disorder, and millions more are dealing with undiagnosed anxiety.

Unfortunately, many of the proposed solutions to anxiety are pharmaceutical. These pharmaceutical options can produce unwanted side effects which may be as frustrating as the anxiety itself. Because of this, many people who suffer from anxiety turn to natural solutions like our RelaxZyme supplement. RelaxZyme is formulated to nourish your body’s nervous system, suppress anxiety, and restore mental balance. It does so with a combination of plant extracts known to help with stress and nervous system disruption.

What Ingredients Are Included In RelaxZyme?

RelaxZyme contains a mix of plant ingredients, derived from species that have been researched for their anxiety-reduction effects. Our supplement also includes a blend of digestive enzymes that will help your gut absorb more of RelaxZyme’s beneficial ingredients.

Those ingredients include:

Valerian Root Extract

Valerian plants are prevalent throughout Europe and Asia, though they also grow in some parts of North America. The valerian’s root has been used in medicine that dates back to ancient Greece and Rome, and it’s been well-researched for its health benefits.

Valerian root contains several compounds that reduce anxiety and help improve sleep. Some of these compounds are unique to valerian root and they work in a synergistic fashion to activate or suppress certain neurological functions. Specifically, valerian root can increase the availability of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which has a sedating effect on the body. Valerian also affects the expression of serotonin and adenosine receptors, both of which influence sleep. Research also suggests that a compound unique to valeriana plants (valepotriats) may have antidepressant and anti-anxiety benefits.

Several studies and study reviews, many conducted in just the last five years, confirm that valerian root is effective in improving sleep, particularly in postmenopausal women and women suffering from insomnia. Compared to placebo, studies also show that valerian root can reduce anxiety and symptoms from anxiety-related disorders like obsessive compulsive disorder.

Hops Strobile Flower

Each dose of RelaxZyme also contains hops strobile flower, which are the flowers that brewers use to make beer. The flower itself is also connected to a few health benefits. Two studies, one in 2012 and one in 2014, studied nurses and college students who drank non-alcoholic beer with dinner for several weeks. The presence of hops in the beer encouraged better and longer-lasting sleep, according to study participants.

Additional studies suggest that a combination of valerian root and hops strobile flower can help with insomnia. During a 16-study review in Australia, 12 studies confirmed that the combination could improve sleep quality and reduce the time before sleep onset. In some patients, the effects were profound, including patients who were able to add more than two hours of sleep nightly.

Hops strobile flower may also reduce postmenopausal symptoms, including hot flashes and reduced libido. That’s according to a 2010 study in Finland.

Skullcap (aerial parts)

Skullcap is native to both China and North America but is not cultivated around the world. In Native American medicine, skullcap has been used for hundreds of years as an anti-anxiety agent. It’s used much the same way today and is frequently combined with valerian for its effects.

Research shows that the aerial parts of the skullcap plant can increase the availability of GABA in the central nervous system, which boosts mood and calms nerves. Skullcap also contains significant levels of antioxidants, which can help relieve oxidant stress and decrease the risk of heart disease and certain cancers.

Wild Lettuce Leaf

Wild lettuce is related to dandelion and grows in much of Europe, Asia, India and Australia. Wild lettuce contains a pair of compounds – lactucin and lactucopicrin – that possess notable analgesic (anti-pain) and anti-anxiety effects. Animal studies have demonstrated this analgesic effect. During one study, lactucopicrin was shown to be as effective as ibuprofen at half the dose.

Research also suggests that lactucopicrin may also inhibit acetylcholinesterase, to the point that it can promote neuritogenesis. Neuritogenesis refers to the process during which nerve cells create new neurites, or extensions from the cell itself. More neurites means better communication, and lactucopicrin is being considered as an option for improving outcomes in people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

Digestive Enzyme Blend

Every dose of RelaxZyme also contains a mix of digestive enzymes, designed to improve gut function and improve uptake of RelaxZyme’s plant-based ingredients. Included are protease, amylase, lipase and cellulase. Protease processes protein, amylase processes sugar and lipase processes fat, and this combination can be helpful in dealing with digestive upset.

Cellulase is included because it targets the indigestible polysaccharides found in plant cell walls. With cellulase included, it’s easier for the body to break down and uptake the plant-based ingredients in RelaxZyme.

What Allergens Aren’t Included in RelaxZyme?

It’s hard to relax if you’re having an allergic reaction, so we’ve formulated RelaxZyme without common allergens and irritants. You won’t find any lactose or dairy products, and you won’t find any peanuts, soy, wheat or sugar in each dose. RelaxZyme can also be incorporated into a vegetarian diet without any issues.

RelaxZyme Can Provide All-Natural Stress Management

The plants used in RelaxZyme have been used in medicine for many centuries, and there’s plenty of research to back their use as anxiety and sleep aids. Together, they can keep stress at bay, promote better sleep and help keep your nervous system in balance.
